Over the years, First Presbyterian Church has participated in several international mission trips, partnering with Rivers of the World to assist our brothers and sisters in Christ who live in the Dominican Republic and Belize.

2016 Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic

Plans are underway for 37 persons, including youth, college students, and adults, to participate in First Presbyterian's mission trip to the Dominican Republic in March 2016. The trip will include work in the construction, education, and medical fields, with efforts concentrated in in Barrio La La Chosa and Batey 106, both near the city of La Romana, Dominican Republic.

2013 Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic

In March 2013, First Presbyterian sent 31 people to the Dominican Republic to construct water systems, conduct Vacation Bible School, and provide medical services for the people in Barrio Juan P. Duarte, and other remote locations near La Romana, Dominican Republic. A recap of the trip can be found on our church blog.

2003 Mission Trip to Belize

In 2003, some 49 people participated in First Presbyterian Church's mission trip to Belize, where participants helped construct a school and a Christian summer camp, provide medical care, and conduct Vacation Bible School for the people of Orange Walk, Belize.
