First Presbyterian Kindergarten
First
Presbyterian Kindergarten is a weekday pre-school sponsored by our church for children
from throughout the community. It is located in the recently remodeled Van M. Arnold
Education Building across the street from the church sanctuary. The students and
teachers enjoy fully-equipped classrooms, an outdoor playground, and a large fellowship
hall. They also meet in the sanctuary for special occasions and programs.
"FPK" meets each morning from 7:45-11:30. An extended-day is often
provided called "Lunch Bunch". Children are provided a
developmentally-appropriate educational program, love, security, reassurance, positive
discipline, and a nurturing atmosphere. Our kindergarten is directed by Mrs. Nancy
Tollison and overseen by First Presbyterian's Kindergarten Board, a sessional committee.
