    The members of First Presbyterian strive to show God's love for all of His people through a large variety of missions and benevolences. 

Some of our benevolences include: ($137,000 in 2011 budget)

*St. Andrew Presbytery, a part of the Synod of Living Waters
*Outreach Foundation of the PCUSA, where we support Dr. Peter Lim and his work in China; and a medical clinic in Haiti.
*Boy Scouts of America by sponsoring a local Troop 200

benkat05.jpg (12582 bytes) Members of our church made hurricane relief trips to the Mississippi Gulf Coast following Hurricane Katrina. Besides assisting with the clean-up and construction, members donated money, food and supplies.
